Team ACS triumphs in DELeague tourney

MANILA, Philippines - Team ACS outscored MJM Production (Team Zamboanga) in overtime, 119-114, in the ongoing third DELeague Kap. Rudy Franciso Cup at the Marikina Sports Center gym.

 Marvin Mercado topscored with 24 points while Ismael Junio had 23 and Alvin Vitug 20 in leading Team ACS past MJM Production.

Mike Tolomia led MJM Production with 34 points, including seven triples, while Tisoy Ignacio contributed  17 points before fouling out in the last 3:45 of  overtime but their efforts were not enough to snatch a win.

 In another game, Team FEU-NRMF won over Skyforce, 85-84.

Aris Gumabay contributed 24 points while ex-PBA player, Marvin Hayes, finished with 16 points and seven rebounds for the FEU-NRMF team. Also reinforcing their win were the rebounds from former UAAP FEU Tamaraws players Anthony Hangrove with 8 rebounds and Christian Sentcheu with 7.

Ex-PBA player MC Caceres led Skyforce with 13 points.

DELeague is held every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, 7 p.m. at the Marikina Sport Center. Tickets are available at P10.
