MANILA, Philippines – Reigning UAAP MVP Terrence Romeo has entered the 2013 PBA Draft just hours after the deadline for applications Friday, dropping by the PBA Office in Libis, Quezon City to submit his application.
Romeo will forego the final year of eligibility with the FEU Tamaraws after leading the Morayta-based squad back to the Final Four in the recently concluded UAAP season.
The scoring dynamo will also miss the opportunity to represent the country for the Southeast Asian Games to be held later this year after being invited by head coach Chot Reyes to the pool.
The 2010 UAAP Rookie of the Year finished his fourth-year campaign with averages of 22.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.6 steals to dethrone two-time MVP Ray Parks of National University.
The 2013 PBA Draft will held on Nov. 3 at Robinson's Manila.
