4 share NCA derby honors
MANILA, Philippines - SMC Barkadahan of Tady Palma, Golden Mama GQ of Procis Aquino, Paniqui of Max Roxas and Beboy Uy’s SF 23 CE posted five points apiece to share top honors in the National Cockers Alliance six-stag derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig last week.
Karamba of Remy Medrano, UFCC Cobra of Atong Ang, PS Govic CT of Pipo Soliman and J.V.S. of Jesus Sison shared fifth place with 4.5 points.
Meanwhile, another top-notch derby will be held Tuesday with Boy de Roca, Efren Canlas, Jimafer and Pipo Soliman as hosts.
Heading the NCA member roster are Jomar Hizon, Edwin Santiago, Tony Naguiat, Ato dela Cruz, Bong Pineda, Manolet Sazon, Edwin Jingco, Jingco brothers, RJ Mea, Louie Castillejo, Max Roxas, Pido Harenzo, Celso Evangelista and Ray Manalansan.
Only stags banded by NGBA, GF, MIGBA, SGBA, BBC, PAGBA, RGBA, CVBA, LGBA, UNIGBA, LYR and TAGBA will be allowed to participate. The accepted minimum weight is 1.700 kgs and the maximum weight is 2.150 kgs.
