Parsons, KC tweet and date

MANILA, Philippines - With good looks and solid game, Houston’s Chandler Parsons is an instant hit, particularly among Filipino female fans. But he, in return, admitted being smitten by their charm and warmth.

“They’re beautiful, friendly and everybody is so nice,” said the 24-year-old Parsons right after their last practice session at the MOA Arena in Pasay City yesterday.

In fact, his first Filipina acquaintance is pretty and popular showbiz personality KC Concepcion, whom the former admitted to have dated Tuesday night.

“We’ve dated, had dinner last night (Tuesday),” said Parsons, referring to Concepcion. 

Parsons and Concepcion actually linked up last May when they exchanged messages on Twitter. Parsons’ account is @ChandlerParsons while Concepcion’s @kc_concepcion.

“A mutual friend introduced us and we talked on Twitter months back. She’s a great girl, had a great time last night,” said Parsons.

When tagged by The STAR on Twitter, Concepcion didn’t reply but her recent tweets hinted that she’s happy.

Who knows, Concepction could get a front row seat when Parsons’ Rockets tangle with the Indiana Pacers in the first-ever NBA Global Games Philippines 2013 tonight at the MOA Arena.
