‘Linsanity’ movie promo up

MANILA, Philippines - The “Linsanity” craze hits Manila this week as the country hosts for the first time the historic NBA pre-season match between the Houston Rockets and Indiana Pacers at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Jeremy Lin, the sensational Asian guard of the Rockets, will be part of the NBA Global Games here on Oct. 10 as he teams up with backcourt mate James Harden and new member Dwight Howard in battling Paul George, Danny Granger, Roy Hibbert, and the rest of the Pacers.

The first ever NBA pre-season game here coincides with the showing of Lin’s movie “Linsanity,” which documents the journey of the former Harvard University stalwart towards success and at how his passion and talent for the game have been finally recognized in the NBA. The film is directed by Evan Leong.

As part of the movie promotion, “Linsanity” movie ticket holders get a 10 percent discount on all single receipt purchase of regular-priced Spalding products at all Pro Line Sports Center stores.

The promo is good for the whole month of October.
