Rose to fantasy basketball players: Pick me
MANILA, Philippines – With Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose's impending return from injury, the 2011 NBA MVP has proclaimed that he is ready for the season to start, and also urged his fans to pick him in “fantasy basketballâ€.
In last Monday's press conference for his D Rose World Tour, a laid-back Rose candidly answered questions from the media for almost 30 minutes. When asked if fans should pick him for their fantasy basketball team, he had a quick answer.

"I think you should pick me," said Rose confidently, who averaged 21.8 points, 7.9 assists and 3.4 rebounds for the 2011-2012 season.
Rose has expressed readiness to play basketball again, saying he is already 100 percent.
"I know I am (100 percent). It's just going out there with confidence and play without thinking. Just reacting to things, as far as my preparation, that is the hardest thing I have to face," he said.

Rose also has another player in mind in terms playing fantasy basketball this season – Kevin Love, who he says will be a major force this season.
"I would have to say just from working out with him so much. Kevin Love, he is a guy who I have known since high school. We've been playing in AAU championships together," said Rose.
"He's a winner and working out with him every day. He is super competitive, always trying to win everything. He will have a big year" he added.
