Nabong, Tan repeat as Valiant bowl champs

MANILA, Philippines - Nolan Nabong and Esteban Tan sustained their fine form as they dominated the field to capture the Valiant Bowling League crown for the second straight conference at the Pearl Bowling Center recently.

Francis Dy and Leah Dy placed second, Joey Sy and John Sy finished third and national bowler Liza Del Rosario and Jacinto Uy wound up fourth.

Tony Koa of Gallant Walker Bowling posted a 980 series to bag the monthly championship for July. He bested Mac Macaisa of Maybank, who had a 944, and Esteban Tan, who submitted a 943.

Meanwhile, the Pol Custodio-Bobby Gonzales tandem took charge after two weeks of the third conference with Marcos Ong and Margaret Koh in second and the Wilson Uy-Jackson Co pair in third.
