La O’ tows winners in Circuit Showdown

MANILA, Philippines - Rafael La O’ came out victorious in Grid A of the recent Batangas leg of the GT Radial Circuit Showdown at the Batangas Racing Circuit.

La O’ was followed to the finish by Miko Maristela and Paul Perez in the event, which  attracted 73 participants in the Time Attack and 40 in the Grid races.

Grid B featured a lot of dicing and shuffling and had Edward Pujol beating Niño Garcia and Rico Cheng for top honors.

In Grid C, a total of 23 racers slugged it out for eight laps. Toby Santiago came out first followed by Ton Ton Ramos and AL Lacambra.

In the Time Attack section of the event, Bracket F had newcomer Paolo Yaptinchay winning, Alking de la Cruz in second and Dax Robles in third.

In Bracket E, lone lady driver Jeanette Go came in first, Justin Tiu second and Lesley Tuazon in third.

For Bracket D, first was Jun Cabrera followed by AJ Lacambra and newcomer Calvin Suratos.

Bracket C was led by Alan Arguelles followed by Carlo Lee and Rio Halili. Bracket B had Micheal Bryan Co on top, followed by Garcia and Andrew de Asis.

Bracket A found another supercar in first manned by Joby Tanseco, Maristela in second and captain Sam Avila in third.

Carlos Anton posted the fastest time of the day in his CRX with a time of 1.44.702.

The next round of the GT Radial Circuit Showdown which is supported by GT Radial, Staging Lanes Las Pinas, HKS Super Oil, Dixcel, Rota Wheels, Monster Energy Drink, Walter Lights n Sounds, Aguila Auto Glass, Maxspeed, Hardrace, Foil A Car, Run stop Rotors, Egghead, PhilGerma, Top Gear Philippines, Sweetspot420, autoindustriya.com, kotse.com, Legit Manila and Solar Sports Desk, is on Oct. 5 at the Clark International Speedway.
