MANILA, Philippines - Judiciary blasted Metro Manila Development Authority, 115-61, to clinch the No. 2 spot in the first UNTV Cup at the Fort Bonifacio Marine Corps Jurado Hall gym in Taguig City last Sunday.

Don Camaso went 11-of-12 from the field and shot 25 points to lead six players in double figures for Judiciary, which closed out its elims campaign with a 4-2 card.

Armed Forces of the Philippines waylaid PhilHealth, 96-74, in the other game to end up tied with Judiciary for second spot.

But Judiciary took the No. 2 seeding via the winner-over-the-other rule, 100-97, last Aug. 18.

Philippine National Police also made it to the semis of the event organized by Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International, headed by CEO and Chairman Daniel Razon.

MMDA and PhilHealth dropped to 2-3 card for a three-way tie with Congress-LGU for the fourth spot.

The three will dispute the last semis berth on Sunday.

PNP routed Department of Justice, 135-51, to move a win away from sweeping the elims with a 5-0 record.

DOJ dropped all its six matches.
