Roligon re-opens Sept. 12
MANILA, Philippines - The new–look Roligon Mega Cockpit will have its grand re-opening Sept. 12 with the staging of the Ultimate Fighting Cock Championship (UFCC) 6-Stag Derby.
The UFCC group, headed by Charlie “Atong†Ang and Gerry Ramos, has 68 regular members.
For the three-stag eliminations on Thursday, 102 fights are lined up, said Ramos. The finals (3-stag derby) will be on Sept. 14.
Last Wednesday, Roligon CEO Dennis Ligon formally welcomed Ang and Ramos as new Roligon operators.
“The group of Mr. Ang and Ramos will manage all bigtime derbies of Roligon,†Ligon announced.
The schedule of 6-stag events: Sept. 12 and 14, Sept. 19 and 21, Oct. 3 and 5 and Oct. 24 and 26.
At the end of the series, the 2013 UFCC Stagfighter of the Year will be declared.
