MANILA, Philippines –The FEU Tamaraws joined the NU Bulldogs in the Final Four after 92-80 rout of the Adamson Falcons Saturday in the UAAP Season 76 men’s basketball action at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Leading MVP candidate Terrence Romeo sizzled with a new career-high 32 points eclipsing his previous record of 30, which he logged in against UE Red Warriors in two overtimes earlier this season.

Mac Belo and former MVP RR Garcia chipped in 18 and 14 points, respectively, for the Tamaraws who climbed to 9-4 just a half a game behind league-leading Bulldogs’ 9-3 card. The Falcons, meanwhile, slid down to 4-9 and remained at seventh spot.

The explosive trio alternated in clipping the Falcons’wings.

Belo touched off a dizzying 19-3 run in the third quarter with seven straight points punctuated by Romeo’s own six-point binge to break the tight game, 44-42, wide open as the Tamaraws seized a huge 18-point advantage, 63-45.

The Falcons never got closer than 10 as Garcia brought it back to a dozen with his two free throws to end the quarter.
