D Rose nears return to Phl; 4,000 free tickets up for grabs

MANILA, Philippines – With only less than two weeks before Chicago Bulls superstar point guard Derrick Rose returns to the country, Adidas Philippines is giving a big treat to his fans.

Adidas Philippines will be giving away 4,000 free tickets (two free tickets maximum per person) to fans to see Rose in person during the Adidas D Rose Tour 3-on-3 grand finals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sept. 15.

Fans can reserve their free tickets starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 7) online through Ticketnet (www.ticketnet.com.ph).

Each person will be allowed to reserve online only once for a total of two (2) tickets. Successful ticket reservations can be claimed starting on Sunday (Sept. 8) from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. until Wednesday (Sept. 11) next week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Rose will be returning to the country since playing alongside Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Javale McGee, Derek Fisher, Derrick Williams and Tyreke Evans in a pair of exhibition games during the Smart All Star Ultimate Weekend in 2011. 

Rose, a former NBA MVP, is set to arrive for his second visit in the country, this time courtesy of Adidas, on Sept. 14. He will grace the Adidas D Rose Tour 3-on-3 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sept. 15 where the top high school teams in Southeast Asia.

On his last day on Sept. 16, Rose will grace a press conference in the morning then will wind up the last stop of his worldwide tour with a guesting appearance in a video game tournament at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium, where he will play against the winner of the contest.
