Football fest up at Nuvali’s The Fields

MANILA, Philippines - The Nuvali Cup holds another football festival this weekend with young athletes from various schools all over Metro Manila seeing action at Nuvali at The Fields, in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Now on its third year, the Nuvali Cup actually kicks off a series of sporting events with the Ultimate All Star Weekend set on Oct. 5-6 and the Southern Classic Baseball Champions leg on Oct. 12-13.

Considered as one of the best open field sports arenas in the country today, The Fields boasts of three FIFA-sized football fields, two baseball diamonds and three sand volleyball courts plus a multi-use outdoor clubhouse.

The opening rites will be held Sunday at 10 a.m. which will feature a 5-a-side football fun game for media and celebrities, headed by Rich Hardin, Jon Hall, Nate Burkey and Simon Greatwich.
