Erase making presence felt in local hoops

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Erase Xfoliant has increased its involvement in local basketball, backing a handful of amateur teams and helping nurture prospects.

Team owner Louie Gamboa said it all boils down to passion.

“More than anything else, it’s passion,” saidGamboa.

After making its mark in the now defunct Philippine Basketball League, Erase brought its act in the PBA D-League, supporting future stars.

The firm's basketball interests have extended to the collegiate leagues. Erase has backed, among others, the Arellano University Chiefs, the Letran Knights, and the San Beda Red Lions in the NCAA.

In the UAAP, the UST Tigresses and the Ateneo Lady Eagles have enjoyed its backing.

“So far, we’re happy that the teams we are supporting are doing good in their respective leagues,” added Gamboa.
