Meneses to grace NAASCU opening

MANILA, Philippines - Former Philippine Basketball Association superstar Vergel Meneses will be one of the guests of honor during the opening of the 13th National Athletic Assocation of Schools, Colleges and Universities at the Makati Coliseum on Aug. 13.

Meneses will toss the ceremonial ball along with NAASCU chairman Dr. Jay Adalem, president Dr. Vicente Santos Jr. of host Our Lady of Fatima University, Ma. Cristina Padolina of Centro Escolar University and other NAASCU officials.

An outstanding alumnus of the CEU Integrated School of Malolos, the 1995 Most Valuable Player was heralded as one of CEU’s most notable alumni in the field of sports.
