Baby Tams repulse Baby Falcons

MANILA, Philippines - Defending champion Far Eastern University (FEU)-Diliman extended its winning streak to three as the Baby Tams clobbered the Adamson Baby Falcons, 63-43, in the UAAP juniors basketball tournament on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

National under-16 mainstay Richard Escoto pounded his way in the paint and tallied a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Marvin Lee also chipped in 13 markers for the Baby Tams.

Reinier Quinga paced the Baby Falcons with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

In the other juniors game, Michael Nieto and Aaron Black combined for 39 markers to lead the Ateneo Blue Eaglets past the UP Integrated School Junior Maroons, 85-75.

FEU and Ateneo are now tied at the third spot with 3-2 records, while Adamson remained winless.
