AMA U joins Adidas 3 on 3

MANILA, Philippines - The AMA University High School team, also known as the  St. Augustine International School, is joining the Adidas 3 on 3 Derick Rose preliminary tournament set July 20-21 at the Don Bosco-Makati.

“This is the first time we are joining this kind of tournament, and it’s certainly a great opportunity for our kids  to gain added experience in this event as part of our basketball program,” said Mark Herrera, sports director and head coach of the basketball operation of AMA University.

Team members are Clark Quijano, Jason David, Russel Fuentes and Michael Perez. The team is supported by team owner Ambassador Amable Aguiluz, first vice president and sports head Arnel Hibo and school director Aldric Manrique.

Herrera is also head coach of the  13-under national youth team that is competing in the NBA 3 on 3 at the Mall of Asia.
