Ornate, Lalwani reign in Suzuki RBW races
MANILA, Philippines - Jerwin Ornate came away with two victories in the Scooter 130 and Underbone 115 categories while Mark Ravi Lalwani topped the Raider 150 class in the Suzuki Raider Breed Wars in Balayan, Batangas recently.
Thirty-six riders vied in the event with Ornate and Lalwani joining the elite roster of winners in the RBW and gaining berths in the national finals set in December.
Ornate beat Raymond John Arquileta and Wilson Caraig to capture the Scooter 130 crown then bested Norvin Dizon and Evander Salivares to pocket the Underbone 115 plum.
Lalwani, of Team Red Speed, also defeated Dizon in the Raider 150 division with Ian Paul Amor finishing third.
Now on its fourth year, RBW underscores Suzuki Philippines’ commitment to put up thrilling competitions without compromising the riders and spectators’ safety.
Other backers of the event are co-presentor Phoenix Cyclomax Motorcycle Oils and sponsors Talk n Text and Denso Sparkplugs.
Meanwhile, the next two legs of the RBW, sanctioned by the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (NAMSSA), will be held in Pagadian, Zamboanga Del Sur and Nueva Ecija.
