BEST Center clinics set in 3 venues

MANILA, Philippines - The multi-awarded and pioneering sports clinics of the BEST Center (Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training Center) is accepting enrollees for its weekend sessions in three venues.

The clinics, which started July 6 and will end Aug. 24, are being held at the Ateneo covered courts, Xavier School and at the Starmall-Alabang.

The Ateneo covered courts will again become the hub of the BEST Center clinics with Introduction to Basketball offered in Levels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturdays.

Afternoon sessions then shift to the Fr. Rafael Cortina Sports Center at Xavier School 1-4 p.m. Clinics in levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 are being offered. 

Sundays will also be a busy one for students enrolled at the Starmall Sports Center at the third floor of the Starmall-Alabang. Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 are being offered in the Alabang clinics.

Volleyball clinics, according to BEST Center founding president and former national coach Nic Jorge, will also be on tap at the Ateneo 1-4 p.m., coinciding with the opening of the basketball clinics on Aug. 24.
