MANILA, Philippines - The foreign boxers seeing action in this weekend’s Pinoy Pride XXI will be the main guests in today’s session of the PSA Forum at Shakey’s Malate.
Colombian Jorle Estrada leads the guests list in the public sports program aired live over dzSR Sports Radio 918 and presented by Shakey’s and Pagcor. Estrada will be challenging Filipino champion Merlito Sabillo of the famed ALA boxing stable for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) minimumweight title at the Solaire Casino and Resort Hotel on Saturday.
Accompanying Estrada are Mexican fighters Arturo Badillo and Abraham Gomez. Badillo meets Oriental Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) super-flyweight titleholder Arthur Villanueva, while Gomez takes on the comebacking AJ “Bazooka†Banal.
Appearing in the first part of the 10:30 a.m. session is Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (TATAP) president Ting Ledesma as he talks about the coming 19th Southeast Asian Table Tennis Association (SEATTA) junior championship which the country is hosting July 12-16 at the Harrison Plaza Mall.
