Chess clinics up
MANILA, Philippines - The Milo-sponsored Checkmate Saturdays-and Thursdays-only chess clinics get underway in 11 Metro Manila venues starting July 6.
The venues and time slots for the Thursdays-only training program are Little Presidents Learning Palace (LPLP) in San Miguel Ave., Manila (11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.); Kinderville Learning Center (KLC) in Speaker Perez St., Retiro, Quezon City (3-5 p.m.) and in Binondo area (8-10 a.m.). The clinic will start on July 4.
Saturday classes: San Sebastian College- Recoletos (8-10 a.m.); Walter Mart Sucat, Parañaque (3-5 p.m.); Starmall Las Piñas (11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.); Starmall Edsa Shaw (11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.); Capitol Hills Christian School in Batasan Hills, Quezon City (11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.); Sacred Heart Academy of Novaliches in Quirino Highway, QC (3-5 p.m.); Sta. Clara Parish School, Pasay (11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m.); McDonald’s Victory Center Mall, Caloocan (8-10 a.m.); Christ Life Learning Academy in Bacoor (3-5 p.m.); KLC (8-10 a.m.) and LPLP (2-4 p.m.).
