Lascuña, Salvador six strokes off pace

MANILA, Philippines - Tony Lascuña and Elmer Salvador turned in identical one-over 72s to trail Thai Pariya Junhasavasdikul by six at the start of the Selangor Masters at the Seri Selangor Golf Club in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia yesterday.

Angelo Que produced four birdies but sputtered with six bogeys to drop to joint 41st at 73 while Jay Bayron bogeyed three of the last five holes for a 74 and Miguel Tabuena birdied Nos. 15 and 16 to finish with a 75.

Over in Japan, Juvic Pagunsan resumed his campaign with an even par-72, falling seven strokes off Min Gyu Cho in the opener of the Japan Golf Tour Championship at Shishido Hills Country Club West Course in Ibaraki yesterday.
