Del Rosario, Magsakay rule ABC singles bowl

MANILA, Philippines - Joey del Rosario of Duraflex THHN Wires scored a six-game series of 1302 to cop the Group I crown while Bert Magsakay of Emerald Pipes took the Group 2 plum with a 1165 in the Architects Bowling Club’s singles event at the E Lanes Center in Greenhills, San Juan last week.

Hermie Prudente of Boysen Wallguard had 1290 for second, Denis Jalandoon of WeKonstruct made 1275 to place third while Jerry Cham of Boysen Konstruct turned in a 1237 for fourth in Group 1 in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Joseph de Guzman of Glass Asia rolled a 1135, Randa Poon of Duraflex TW Minor scored 1101 and Malou del Rosario of Philflex Wires and Cables shot 1058 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

The tournament, backed by Morning Sun, JS Alvarez, Concrete Ventures, Crown Pipes, Philflex Cables, Duraflex THW Wires, Boysen Acrytex/Healthy Homes/Virtuoso, Greystone, Dwightsteel, Energetix, Coach Furnitures, Spurway, HCG Phils., August Alliance, Molder Pipes, Miraga Trading and DN Steel, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of monthly championship, also at E Lanes.
