Spinning Ridge wins TC 2nd leg

MANILA, Philippines - Fifth pick Spinning Ridge nipped Borjkahlifa by a head in a thrilling down-to-the-wire duel to rule the second leg of Philracom’s Triple Crown Stakes Race at the Santa Ana Park in Naic, Cavite yesterday.

Jockey John Alvin Guce outdueled brother John Paul Guce with a superb whip-and-push combination to steer Spinning Ridge past Borjkahlifa in a neck-and-neck battle down the stretch to top the 1,800-meter event and deliver the P1.8 million purse to SC Stockfarm, Inc.
