Juico Cup set at Wack Wack

MANILA, Philippines - The third Felipe S. Juico Memorial Cup will be played Saturday with a long list of invited guests from various fields, including those in the government and private sectors, expected to see action at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club’s West Course.

CATS Motors, Club Cars, Dynamic Sports and Toby’s Sports are also putting up a wide array of prizes for hole-in-one feats, including a Chrysler Town and Country Van, a golf cart, a set of irons and a home fitness package.

To accommodate the expected big number of entries, organizers have set a shotgun start tee-off at 12:30 p.m. with a dinner dance to cap the 18-hole event held in honor of the late president of Wack Wack (1972-73) who would have turned 109 on Friday.

The Juico family, led by WWGCC president Philip Ella Juico, is guaranteeing a day-long fun golf tournament sponsored by Shell, Globe, G&W Club Shares, Splash Corp., LARES, Security Bank Corp., Pascual Laboratories, Chronos Watches, Duty Free Phils., Amb. Antonio Cabangon-Chua, Camp John Hay, the Manor, Zest Air, Gourdo’s, Sterling Phils. and The Plaza.
