MANILA, Philippines - Tickets in the NBA Pre-season game, now called the NBA Global Games Phl 2013, between the Indiana Pacers and the Houston Rockets on Oct. 10 at the MOA Arena will be priced from as low as P550 to as high as P32,300.

Arnel Gonzales, Mall of Asia Arena business unit head, also announced tickets to the Pacers-Rockets game will be sold on June 16 starting at 10 a.m. at all SM ticket outlets and online at www.smtickets.com.

“It will be available to the public 10 a.m. of June 16 at SM ticket outlets or online; just log on at www.smtickets.com,” said Gonzales at halftime of the NBA viewing of Game Five of the Pacers-Miami Heat Eastern Conference Finals series in Mall of Asia hosted Friday at the MOA Cinema Three.

“Tickets will be accessible with a multi-level pricing scheme starting from as low as P550 because we want more Filipinos to enjoy this true NBA experience,” he added.

Nicole Mariz Deato, marketing and sponsorship head of the MOA Arena and SM Tickets, said they will sell a total of 16,000 seats in the MOA Arena, which can seat as many as 20,000.

The P550-priced seat is only for the gallery section as the rest of the seats are eight times more expensive as Section D seats are worth P4,200 while the rest, Section C, Premium B and Premium A, are priced at P8,400, P27,000 and P32,300, respectively.

“We will also be throwing in limited edition NBA Global Merchandises and a lot more to lower seats,” said Deato. “It’s rarely that we get to feel this once and a lifetime NBA game, which we will be experiencing first hand not just on TV.”

Carlo Singson, head of NBA-Asia Philippines said some NBA-related activities will be free to the public.

“There will be such activities like seminars and some charity events as part of NBA Cares,” said Singson, who also officially unveiled the new NBA pre-season logo.

The Houston Rockets feature a dynamic young roster led by NBA All-Star and All-NBA selection James Harden, along with Jeremy Lin and Chandler Parsons. The team has played 13 games outside of the US and Canada, including four games in China, two each in 2004 and 2010, and two regular season games in Japan in 1992.

The Indiana Pacers, led by NBA All-Stars Paul George and Roy Hibbert, have played overseas twice, most recently in 2009 in Beijing and Taipei.
