World slasher final up

MANILA, Philippines - Wilson Ong’s Octagon Cabadbaran Jared went four-of-four to lead four others who swept their semifinal matches in the World Slasher-2 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Wednesday.

Ong, president of the Philippine Federation of Gamefowl Breeders and member of the Thunderbird Sabongnation team, is seeking to duplicate his feat in the 2007 Slasher mid-year edition with off-colored fighters.

Others who scored four points were Sagupaan B-50 of Patrick Antonio, Enzo Altavaz-RC of Atty. Salazar, San Jose Slasher of Doc Ikoy Ozaeta and Doc Ayong Lorezo, and Tose-Ika-LR of Butchoy Olano and Lito Roque.

Staying in the title hunt with 3.5 points is AAO Hithcock I of Gerry Ramos while defending WSC-2 solo champion Mayor Jose Panganiban had two entries in ANAC-IP and ANAC-IP-Panalo with three wins and one loss each.
