MANILA, Philippines - Hawaiian Lowen Tynanes gets the chance to show his stuff before local fight fans again as he slugs it out with Felipe Enomoto in the ONE FC: Rise to Power slated on May 31 at the MOA Arena.
Tynanes, 23, beat Eduard Folayang of Team Lakay in the URCC last December here then went on to pile up victories in different Asian regions like Japan, Malaysia and Singapore.
Following his romp in Japan, Tynanes took on Folayang and stunned the partisan crowd by winning the fight behind his wrestling skills that Folayang simply had no answer to.
He expressed confidence on his chances for the upcoming fight.
“I am very confident that I can defeat Enomoto. He is a real veteran of the sport and has fought some big names but I feel that my strengths can exploit his weaknesses. I will emerge from the cage with my hand raised,†said Tynanes, who fights out of 808 Fight Factory.
“I began with wrestling, and was competing competitively through high school. I then moved into mixed martial arts at around 15 years old. I started learning boxing and jiu-jitsu to complement my wrestling,†he added.
