NCA world derby unfolds at Ynares

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance World Championship Derby begins today with a heavy line-up of entries from the country’s top breeders and cockers slugging it out for top honors at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Nestor Gualberto, Joey and Buboy delos Santos, Gerry Fevidal, Ricky Magtoto, Bebot Roxas, JV Magsaysay, Blandy Tolentino and Alex Atienza, Johnny Jalandoni, Cebu-Batangas Group, James Uy, Ferdie Eusebio and Jun Mendoza, head the elite cast in the bi-annual event sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.

The other playdates are on May 23 and May 25.

Others fielding in their top-notch entries are Danny Soriano and Magno Lim, Celso Evangelista, Romy Lim and Manolet Sazon, Rep. Peter Unabia, Henry Tan, Paul Estrellado, Jet Fernando, Elmer David, JR Tolentino, Bong Pineda, Philip Chiongbian, Ricky Valencia, Argie Mejia Group, Mayor Strike Revilla, Emil Chua, Mayor Alonte, Gerry Ramos, Engr. Medrano;

Clemo-Pasig Cockers, Boy Torres, Sec. Ronnie Puno, Ramon Mancenares, Mayor Jessie Viceo, the brother of Rene Medina, Rene Ongpin, Celso Evangelista, Jun Garves, Edwin Tosi, Terongsi, Taddy Palma, and Victor Sierra.

Americans Tom Wilson, Oscar Akins, and Jeff Hudsteph, and Fil-Am George Torres and Rene Medina together with Kenny Graham, are also joining the NCA members for the international derby.
