WeKonstruct paces ABC anniversary bowl

MANILA, Philippines - Denis Jalandoon, Abe Firmesa and Ronnie Javier of WeKonstruct combined for 1251 to lead Group I while Boysen Acrytex’s Zeny Prudente, Violy Magsakay and Hermie Prudente paced Group 2 in the Architects Bowling Club’s 36th anniversary tournament at the E Lanes in Greenhills, San Juan last Tuesday.

Jalandoon and Javier of Miraga Trading also showed the way in Group I doubles event with a 1273 with Buddy Segui and Manny Padit of Philflex scoring a 1237 and Ricky Martinez and Ronnie Javier of Coach Furnitures coming up with a 1234 for third.

Edjing San Juan and Jalandoon of Emerald Pipes took charge in Group 2 doubles with a 1315 while Tony Naval and Lito Zubiri of Spurway pooling a 1241 and Boysen’s Malou del Rosario and Frederick Chuongco placing third with 1220.

Javier scored a 1250, Jalandoon of WeKonstruct had a 1243 and Eugene Panaguiton of Dwightsteel made a 1221 to take the top three places in Group I singles. Ricky Martinez of Energetix paced Group 2 with a 1114 followed by Zeny Prudente of Moldex, who had a 1074, and Joan Lay of Glass Asia, who turned in a 1013.

The tournament, backed by Boysen Knoxout/Healthy Homes, Duraflex TW/THHN Wires, Crown Pipes, Concrete Ventures, JS Alvarez, Morning Sun, Greystone, HCG Phils., August Alliance and DN Steel, resumes at 1 p.m. today with the staging of the Masters event finals, also at E Lanes.
