Southwoods Seniors trimester golf slated

MANILA, Philippines - Manila Southwoods braces for another friendly battle among its senior members and their guests as it stages the Seniors Trimester Birthday Bash golf tournament on May 15 at the Masters course in Carmona, Cavite.

Participants will slug it out for top honors in the 18-hole tournament, sponsored by Brainmaster. It is open to seniors chapter members and guests aged 55-years and above, according to the organizing Southwoods Seniors Chapter, headed by president Jose Cedo and vice president and tournament chairman Paco Gonzalez.

Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. with the shotgun tee-off set at 8 a.m.

Yamaha by Kart Plaza will be staked as hole-in-one prize in the event backed by annual hole sponsors Brain Master for Senior Moments, Asia Pacific Golf Corp., Electro Mechanical Products, Inc. and I3 Technology Corp.

Other backers of the event are Red Eagle Lending Investors Corp., Romago Inc., Rudy Project Phils., Inc., Tocoms Phils. Inc. and Warbird Security and Investigation Agency, Inc.

Format is medal play with full handicap (max 36) with Class A for 0-12, Class B (13-24), Class C (25-36) and Super Senior (75-years-old-and-above).
