MANILA, Philippines – It was announced yesterday that Manny Pacquiao has chosen former WBA lightweight champion Brandon Rios as his comeback opponent on Nov. 24 at the Cotai Arena of the Venetian Resort in Macau.

Pacquiao has settled for Rios after his prospective opponents Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez opted to fight each other instead.

Mike Alvarado was also considered as Pacquiao’s next foe, but the Filipino icon eventually picked Rios, who was also the primary choice of trainer Freddie Roach.
