MANILA, Philippines -- The National University got big baskets from Troy Rosario, while Jerome Garcia showed the way for the Adamson Falcons as they waylaid separate rivals in the ongoing 19th Fr. Martin Summer Cup basketball tournament.
Rosario drilled in 17 points for the Falcons, who blasted the Fatima University Phoenix, 73-51, at the Trinity University of Asia gymnasium in Quezon City.
Garcia unloaded 24 points for the Falcons, who subdued the RP national youth team, 64-54.
The Bulldogs picked up their third straight win in Group A, while the Falcons improved their win-loss record to 3-1 in Group B.
In the junior division, the Jesus is Lord Christian Foundation cagers defeated Ateneo White, 81-59, while the Ateneo Blue prevailed over the Letran Squires, 109-68.
The Fatima University Junior Phoenix outplayed the Adamson Baby Falcons, 51-47.
