Petronas racing Sunday at BRC

MANILA, Philippines - The country’s racing heroes both on two-wheel and four-wheel competitions gear up for bigger challenges and all-out intense racing action with the much-awaited launching of the 2013 Petronas Philippine Motorsports Championships Season this Sunday at the Batangas Racing Circuit.

Kicking off the 2013 Petronas Philippine Motorsports Championships Season is the 2013 Yokohama Philippine Grand Touring Car Championships that features the best circuit racing drivers battling each other in a six-leg series for the prestigious GT Driver of the Year Award.

Among the events lined up for the 2013 Petronas Philippine Motorsports Championships Season are the 2013 Petronas National Drag Racing Championships, the 2013 Bridgestone Philippine Superbikes Series, the 2013 FDR Philippine Scooter Racing Championships and the 2013 Philippine Underbone King Championships.

Reigning champion Vincent Floirendo will be gunning for a three-peat feat in the 2013 Yokohama Philippine GT Championship Series up against 16 other confirmed drivers in the event sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines and sponsored by official oil Petronas Lubricants, official tires Yokohama and Racing Beat@Wave 89.1.
