MANILA, Philippines - Action in the Palawan Pawnshop regional age-group 2013 presented by Babolat resumes today with nine events on tap at the Ouans Worth Resort courts in Lucena City.

The five-day tournament serves as the ninth leg of the 28-stage nationwide circuit put up by Palawan Pawnshop and Babolat in their continuing effort to help develop the sport and provide the youth a venue to showcase their talent and skills.

This week’s event is free as part of the sponsors’ community service through the efforts of Palawan Pawnshop COO Bobby Castro and Technosports president Guillermo Nocom.

Top seed Chloe Mae Saraza and No. 2 Ysay Jardeleza head the cast in the girls’ 18-and-under class while Elijah Arevalo and Miko Jalago banner the field in the boys’ side of the event which features some of the country’s leading junior players.

Other events on tap are the boys’ and girls’ 16-, 14- and 12-and-under categories and the 10-unisex division.
