MANILA, Philippines - Elmer Reyes, a former PBA player for seven seasons, a many-time national team member and father of current Alaska rookie Raffy Reyes, will once again be spearheading basketball summer camps in Metro Manila and Southern Luzon via the Integrated Sports Learning Academy (ISLA) Basketball Sports Program starting tomorrow.

Two-hour and thrice-a-week summer-long camps classified in three groups – basic, advanced and competitive – start in Manila (YMCA near SM Manila), Pasay (Southeastern College), Las Pinas (Cittadela Village) and Laguna (Dominican College) under the tutelage of Reyes, a member of San Miguel Beer’s 1989 PBA grand slam team and of previous national teams which won in the SEA Games and ABC (now FIBA-Asia).

Taekwondo summer camps for the youth under Johanna Lacsamana-Ochoa, a certified PTA instructor and referee, 1991 Philippine Team coach (and Philippine Taekwondo Best Coach for the same year), and a 1989 SEA Games bronze medalist, also begin today in the said venues.
