Crown Pipes tops ABC Corp. Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Tony Sabater, Ryan Jalandoon and Lito Zubiri of Crown Pipes combined for 2527 to top the Architects Bowling Club’s Corporate Cup three-man team at E Lanes Center in Ortigas Ave., Greenhills, San Juan City last week.

Frederick Chuongco, Kathlyn Ong and Jimmy Ocampo of Boysen Wallguard scored 2432 to place second, while the Duraflex THW Wires squad of Jun Queri, Michael Domingo and Nepthy del Rosario had 2422 to finish third in the weekly tournament sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Zubiri also took the High Game honors with a 239.

Meanwhile, the ABC board is inviting all licensed architects to join the tournament held every Tuesday as ABC gears up for its 36th anniversary with a club outing in Coron, Palawan in May.

The tournament, backed by Morning Sun, JS Alvarez Elect. Contractor, Colorsteel, Concrete Ventures, Emerald Pipes, Philflex Wires and Cables, Duraflex TW/THHN Wires, Boysen Acrytex/Knoxout/Healthy Homes, Greystone, Dwightsteel, Glass Asia, Energetix, ABC Phils., Coach Furnitures, Spurway, HCG Phils., Steeltech, WeKonstruct, August Alliance, Moldex Pipes, Miraga Trading and DN Steel, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the monthly championship, also at E Lanes.
