MANILA, Philippines - The combination of Filipinos' characteristic interest in basketball and craze over the latest popular video meme "Harlem Shake" made a Miami Heat video trend on Friday.
The YouTube clip uploaded on Thursday presented Lebron James and teammates dancing to Baauer's hit tune while dressed in outrageous costumes from "Mario Brothers" to "Phantom of the Opera"
The video was found especially popular in Manila and Quezon City areas and has gained over 100,000 views overnight, according to online tracker Trendsmap.
Filipino NBA fans have called it "the best 'Harlem Shake'" stunt among a hundred or so related videos posted online at the height of the meme's popularity in February.

Some hardcore Heat followers, however, felt embarrassed for their sporting icons for the hilarious feat.
