TRS Kids off to big start in Sorteo GP

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The TRS Racing Kids team romped off to a big start, beating its rivals in the Sorteo Grand Prix 2013 KF2-KF3 Cup Series at the Carmona Racetrack in Cavite recently.

Top guns Flynn Jackes, Arthur Tuason and Wils Casequin led the team’s charge while new recruits Jarred Kim and Julia delos Angeles turned in impressive finishes for the TRS squad powered by BMW, Bridgestone, Standard Insurance, Coke Zero, OMP, Oakley, C!Magazine, Go Pro and Toptul.

The nine-year-old Jackes, the 2012 Mini-ROK champion, topped the Formula Cadet Expert class then reasserted his supremacy in the Mini-ROK division to set in motion his bid for back-to-back crowns.

Vying in a higher category, Tuason held his ground and bucked the odds, humbling his more experienced Expert rivals in the combined race to emerge the Formula SL Novice runner-up.

From the Formula Cadet Expert class, Casequin also moved up to the Mini-ROK division, turning in a second runner-up finish.

Jarred Kim and Delos Angeles, on the other other hand, bagged the runner-up and third place honors, respectively, in the Formula Cadet Novice.

“We’re not just aiming to grow bigger this season but more importantly make the team a lot more competitive through the Tuason Racing School Race Career Management Program (TRS-RCMP) to prepare our young karters for the challenges,” said TRS founder and president JP Tuason who’s also the brains behind the TRS-RCMP.
