Prayers pour for ex-PBA import Bobby Parks

MANILA, Philippines – Prayers are pouring for Bobby Parks Sr., the seven-time PBA Best Import awardee whose throat cancer has apparently relapsed.

“He doesn’t look good,” said Talk n Text coach Norman Black of his good friend.

Parks has reportedly been in intensive care unit for his condition.

In a recent post on his Twitter account, San Miguel Corporation executive Noli Eala also called for prayers for the ailing former PBA reinforcement.

“Please continue to pray for Bobby Parks. He needs all our prayers and support,” Eala tweeted.

Parks suited up for San Miguel in 1987 and Formula Shell up to 1998, winning a record seven Best Import plums. His son, Bobby Ray Jr., is currently playing for National University in the UAAP.
