Macaisa-Choa grabs Valiant bowling lead

MANILA, Philippines - Mac Macaisa and Erwin Choa combined for 473 as they snatched a one-point lead over erstwhile leaders Liza del Rosario and Eric Tiu in Week 5 of the Valiant doubles bowling tournament at the Pearl Bowling Center.

Macaisa rolled a 268 for high game of the week for a four-game series of 926 while Choa pooled an 878.

Del Rosario and Tiu slid to second with a 473 while Gabriel Kho with Bobby Gonzales had a 471 for third.

Action in the weekly event resumes tonight for the Week 6 competitions and the monthly finals.
