Tiu tops Valiant monthly bowl tilt
MANILA, Philippines - Eric Tiu rolled a four-game series of 925 to emerge the monthly champion in the Valiant Bowling Club tournament at the Pearl Harrison Plaza Bowling Center last Tuesday.
Tiu, the VBC past president, scored 222, 248, 222 and 233 to rule the January tournament. He also teamed up with national player Liza Del Rosario to produce 476.88 points for the lead in the doubles event.
Nolan Nabong and Esteban Tan combined for 468 points for second while Erwin Choa and Mac Macaisa had 461 points for third.
Limson Uang paced the high series for men with a 943 while Del Rosario showed the way in the ladies side with a 912.
Nag Ng, meanwhile, took the high game of the week honors with 279.
