MANILA, Philippines - Basketball fans are in for a treat as San Miguel Beer opens the gates for the Beermen-Saigon Heat match tomorrow at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
For the Beermen’s first hometown game in this Asean Basketball League (ABL) season, the free tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the gate before the 5 p.m. game which will be shown live over FoxSports Channel with a replay at 8 p.m.
The Beermen (1-1) are coming off a 82-79 setback recently to the Heat but are raring to play before the hometown crowd.
The team is headed by imports Brian Williams and Gabe Freeman, Erik Menk, Asi Taulava, Chris Banchero and last season’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) Leo Avenido. The Saigon Heat (3-1) is backstopped by David Palmer, Dior Lowhorn and Filipino import Jai Reyes.
