Knicks’ Smith blasts Nets' Humphries on Twitter
MANILA, Philippines – Trash talking in basketball is not only prevalent on the hard court but also on Twitter as NBA players J.R. Smith of the New York Knicks took a shot at Kris Humphries of the Brooklyn Nets in the social networking site.
Humphries made a comment on Twitter after the Nets pulled off an 88-85 victory against their borough rivals, the Knicks, ending their regular season series at 2-2 early today.
Big game tonight! The Garden got really quiet on the way out!#Brooklyn

Smith took offense to the Humphries comment on the Knicks’ home arena, Madison Square Garden, and replied with a subtle remark.
Wasnt quiet when Kanye tore it down last month! RT @krishumphries: Big game tonight! The Garden got really quiet on the way out!#Brooklyn

Humphries was in the spotlight last year in a highly publicized breakup with Kardashian.
West and Kardashian, meanwhile, announced earlier this year that they are expecting a child.
