LB tennis club elects officers

LOS BAÑOS, Laguna, Philippines – The College Country Club (CCC) here has elected its officers for 2013.

Ryan Carlos de Leon was reelected president. Other officers are Armando Diaz, a noted ASEAN electrical engineering expert, vice president; Dr. Cesar Quicoy of UP Los Baños, treasurer; Yasmin Andal, secretary; and Jonathan Briones, tournament director.

Founded in 1964, CCC is composed of scientists, professors, and staff members of the international and national academic and research institutions that constitute the Los Baños Science Community (LBSC).

CCC capped 2012 by holding its yearend tennis tournament last December.

Winners were: Men’s division – Dr. Carlos Tomboc and Ben Arizala; Women’s division – Imelda Revilla and Aly Quicoy; and Kids/Teen division – Anton de Padua and Iñigo Valmayor. RAF
