Informatics stuns Big Chill

MANILA, Philippines - Informatics finally came out of the rut, beating Big Chill, 94-87, to post its first victory after eight straight losses in the PBA D-League Aspiratnts Cup at the JCSGO gym in Cubao, QC yesterday.

Mon Rogado fired 26 points while three others scored in double figures as the also-ran Icons took control early then fended off the Superchargers series of rallies to pound out the win.

Big Chill dropped to fourth at 5-4, jeopardizing its bid for the second outright semifinal berth.

Earlier, Boracay Rum outlasted Café France, 62-58, to remain in the playoff hunt with a 4-5 card. 

Roider Cabrera scored nine of his team-high 15 points in the fourth quarter as he powered the Waves to their fourth win against five losses to tie their victim at seventh.
