MANILA, Philippines - The interim WBO Asia Pacific light-welterweight championship match between Filipino Jay “Rapido” Solmiano and Indonesian Rusmin Kie Raha will be aired on Rod Nazario’s In This Corner over PTV-4, from 7-8 p.m.
The 12-round match is the main event of the boxing card dubbed “Mandirigmang Pinoy-Battle at McKinley Hill” held at the Venice Piazza, McKinley Hill Fort Bonifacio, Taguig Dec. 13.
It is presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and Petron.
Solmiano is ranked No. 10 by the WBO Asia Pacific, while Raha is the current Indonesian Boxing Association lightweight champion.
In the preliminary bout, Vergel Puton of Rod Nazario’s boxing gym in Parañaque battles JP Macadompis of JC Mananquil boxing stable in General Santos City in a 10-round bantamweight fight.
The fight card is co-presented by ARCI Gabriel boxing promotions and Brusmick boxing promotion.
