MANILA, Philippines - Five-time champion PRC Couriers defeated defending champion Secret Spices Foods, 110-102, to arrange a winner-take-all encounter with early finalist Royal Tern Ceramics in the 12th MBL-Chairman’s Cup basketball championship at the Aquinas gym in San Juan.

Former University of the Philippines stand-out Edrick Ferrer scattered a game-high 39 points including a personal best 10 three-points to lead the Couriers of playing manager Alex Wang to its fifth straight  finals appearance in this four- team annual tournament supported by PRC Managerial Services, Aqua Dynamics, Royal Tern Ceramics, Durings Restaurant, Teodoro’s Bar and Grill, Master’s Den, Union Bank, Boulevard Mansion, and Whiz Treatment Oil.
