Padit cops 4th astraight annual ABC crown

MANILA, Philippines - Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables waxed hot with a 12-game series of 2719 to claim his fourth straight annual ABC championship in Group I while Jun Queri of La Vida Verde rolled 1787 to annex the Group 2 plum at the E Lanes in Greenhills, San Juan City last week.

Noel del Rosario of Nation Paints rolled 2623, Buddy Segui of American Wires made 2527, Bibs Luzande of Duraflex THHN Wires had 2488 and Hermie Prudente of Boysen Wallguard shot 2459 to finish second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Edna Beltran of Boysen Acrytex scored 1763, Zeny Prudente of Moldex Pipes submitted 1746, Edjing San Juan of Emerald Pipes turned in 1733 and Malou del Rosario of Philflex Cables had 1727 to place second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in Group 2.

Meanwhile, the ABC Christmas party was held yesterday at the Wilcon Builders Depot in Libis, QC with the tournament, backed by Boysen Healthy Homes/Knoxout, Duraflex TW/THW, Concrete Ventures, Colorsteel, Steeltech, We Konstruct, Crown Pipes Supreme, HCG Phils., JS-Alvarez Elect. Contractor, Firefly-Royu, Atlanta Pipes and ABC Phils., resuming on Jan. 8, 2013 starting at 6 p.m.
