Waldorf Trail Run slated

MANILA, Philippines - Novice and veteran runners brace for a tough outing as they compete in the Waldorf Trail Run slated Jan. 26, 2013 at Timberland Heights in San Mateo, Rizal.

Organized by the Manila Waldorf School and Timberland Heights, the event features a three-category event over a nature-themed mountainside trail run, including rolling hills, forested valleys and terraced farms.

Registration is ongoing with fee pegged at P350 for 3K, P450 for 5K and P550 for the premier 10K category, according to Jayson Gabriano of Team Adrenaline.

Proceeds of the event will help fund the Manila Waldorf School’s ongoing improvement of sports facilities and the teachers’ training fund.
